Conversation final examination was forwarded to the last date of 2011. The topic of examination was simulated English conversation in every situation. 4-6 classmates divide into a group. Each group must think a theme and place which conversation could be happen.
Our team used hotel conversation as our situation place, Audrey and I were receptionists at hotel, David was a secretary working for Boss Jennifer, our conversation was starting from me, I accepted David making a hotel reservation....
The examination day was petty chilled, everyone put a lot of clothes on, however, our team has discussed during this class examination, we would dress up as hotel staffs and professional office persons. I was in my suit and mini skirt on that day, especially, I brought two bow-ties for Audrey and me.
Do you think we did a great preparation for our examination? No, when you look around the other teams, our preparation was not a big deal. One team hand made some cute big bowknots attracted everyone to watch them, their conversation was simulated in a store. One team were playing situation at the airport, all of them dressed in the suit and high heels, one classmate wore cheongsam similar to China airline stewardess. That team still was not the best in simulated situation.
Because Ting is a nurse, their team used hospital conversation, she brought a doctor suit for Sjuni, when Sjuni put on the doctor uniform, everyone in class was surprise that he looked almost same as professional physician. Then, during the conversation, they also use some advanced equipments from Ting's working place. Even teacher could not believe those preparation were so remarkable.
One team's conversation was on the bus, they did not dress special, but their talking was about sexual harassment happen on the bus, they were really into the situation and conversation and did a great performance.
Our conversation exam. was end at the joy and laughter. My dear classmates, I was so proud of you, and delighted to be a classmates with you all.
