New Delhi: The body of a gang-rape victim arrived back in New Delhi on Sunday after her death from sickening injuries in a Singapore hospital as India was engulfed by a mass outpouring of grief and anger.
Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and Congress president Sonia Gandhi were at the Indira Gandhi International Airport for the arrival of the specially-chartered plane when it touched down at around 4.15 am

Finance Ministry to stop salary info mailing to save money
As part of its efforts to improve to the economy, the Ministry of Finance has announced a pilot program for taxpayers to opt out of receiving tax withholding statements by mail. The ministry estimates the program will save over NT$1 billion in paper and postage expenses, but many people feel it’s hardly a strong enough pill to cure Taiwan’s sluggish economy.
National Tax Administration offices are packed during tax season. To encourage taxpayers to file online, the Ministry of Finance will launch a pilot program next February to stop mailing hard copies of tax withholding statements.

Last weekend, when I arrived in the classroom, classmate Bai-Bai bought a bag of candies and cookies, she shared some to me and other classmates.
