Taiwanese Male Has Changed?

      Do you think the Taiwanese male has changed ?

      While turning on the beauty programs on TV, you will not be surprised by those stylish men who are the master of these beauty filed. A beauty master is instructing to young girls what is the most fashion style for summer dress, and  other man is applying some colorful cosmetic on a lady's face for explanation of popular looks in this year.  

        And I go to the beauty saloon, the people discuss new hair style with me is a man, too. You will probably find a young handsome guy stand in front of cosmetic counter in department store who is trying to sell their products to other ladies.  

        Yes, in contrast to males before 30 years ago, the Taiwanese men have changed a lot. In traditional Chinese culture, man was the ruler of a family, everyone must obeyed his orders whatever it was correct or not.  He was also the main economic support for a family, every members relied on his finical supports, hence, the male have the endless power of handeling a family. 

       
       Today, most families have two salary incomes. The men are not the only finical source of a family.  Women in a family play more roles than men; they are busy for work, children and family affairs. Taiwanese men have been educated to share some of the family duties than traditional society. So, they are getting understand what women wanted and are willing to experience that older males would not like to do.  Cooking a meal, sharing house duties or taking care of kids are not  difficult jobs for most Taiwanese men now.
