Three Idiots

    I just watched DVD Three Idiots this week, this movie is copious story about the 3 college students in school life. It is hardly to watch Indian movie, I think it is the first release from India product in Taiwan. This  film broke all film records in India, and soon was popular in the world.

    There are 3 main student characters, Fahan, Raju, and Rancho. Rancho is the most intelligent and bright among his friends, he studies Engineering with great passion. On the other side, the Fahan and Raju are counter to Rancho’s condition. Farhan pursue his father’s wishes to be a make money engineer instead of his own desire – a photographer in the wildlife. Raju is from an impoverished home, under economical pressure, he cannot focus his study.

    Professor Viru "Virus" abhors these three problem students, because Rancho always challenges the principle of teaching and pedagogy in the class. meanwhile, Rancho falls in love with Virus' daughter Pia who is a medical student.

    One day, Professor Viru  threatens to rusticate Raju unless he squeals on Rancho, Raju does not submit and attempts suicide, jumping out from Professor Viru’s office. He is unconscious but still alive, his friends are never tired to try every possibility of waking him up. After his recovery, Raju gains a job chance with his stories and sincere approach. Then, Rancho encourage Farhan to convince his father let him pursuit his dream, be a happy photographer for his whole life not a dreary engineer. His father accept his son’s dream finally.

     However, their professor is not delighted with his students’ success in life goal. In the result, caused him to come up a plan and endangers Raju’s job opportunity. Rancho and Pia know professor’s cunning scheme, and try to help Raju. Unfortunately, they are failure of rescue plan. The professor chases Rancho from school in a heavy raining night.  At the same time, Pia's older sister is going into childbirth, the floods make it impossible for ambulance to reach. Rancho contacts with Pia who has stuck in hospital, through cell phone and webcam, Rancho follow Pia’s instructions to deliver the baby. Finally, Professor Virus settles with Rancho and his friends, and allows these students stay for their final exams.

     The story goes here not the end, may be you can spend some time with this Highest-grossing Bollywood films and find it is not only a comedy movie, contains friendship, romantic, family love, tear, laugh, joys and hopes, from many sides, it can inspired everyone in different role of real life.
