The Gift I Wear

     

       Last week, I had my third Yoga lesson, as the beginner of Yoga and never have exercise hobby like me, I did all yoga poses not laboriously as teacher asking, including some of complicated poses, for example, bend your torso forward, lowering your head, let your head touch your shank, one of arm through between your legs, cross your fingers at your back 

Orthodontics

     One of our classmates is going to have orthodontic treatment, I believe she will become a more beautiful girl after she through orthodontic process. She said it will take about 2-3 years to correctt her teeth.

How to Prepare Listening Test

     Our homeroom teacher said there were about half of classmates not passing the test of subject of "listening and speaking". He is a very thoughtful for all students and our study. He does not want anyone be failed in the end of semester.  

Smartphone

      
      Do I need a new smart phone?  Every time when I see other people use the smart phone to connect the website and take a photo and easily load it up to the website...  Sometime, I do admire them...

A Real Story Film

 
    This film is based on an incredible true story.  A girl loves surfer and she was a champion surfer, but she lost her arm in a horrifying accident by a shark.  It is a good movie about the bravery as well as courage of teenager people. And it is very engaging and points heartwarming.

A Season Greeting letter

 
Dear Jhed,

     How are you? This is the first time I write a letter to you.  I guess you will be surprised when you receive this letter. Because you never know I can read and write in English.

The middle Exam

       Our horrible middle exams were finished in the middle of November.  Most of classmates had felt anxious about the first time exams since left school for many years. On the other side, we only could squeeze very limited time to study, we had a full time job in the day. 

Red Straw Story

     

      Every morning when I came into the breakfast shop, I would have a cup of coffee without any verbal asking, the young girl with darker brown skin color had prepared coffee for me. She is not tall, but I can tell some intelligent from her eyes. She not only provided a good coffee but also her sunny smile.

Go Yoga

     

    My two coworkers taken Yoga class from this month, and they asked me to join with them together, because of preparing my middle exam, I did not go for Yoga class till the middle of this month. Their purpose of going Yoga class is trying to slim and lose some of weights,  but I just want to stay in good shape.  I am a lazy person rarely doing exercise, I thought attend dancing class or Yoga class before. I decide to act out this plan.

My first Presentation in English

      
     On the first Sunday of November, I had a presentation as my middle exam in front of my whole class and teacher, the topic was introduction of your favorite Taiwanese food. I still remember the fear and nervous I had about the presentation because this was my first time that I was going to speak English in front of many audiences.

     I did not finish my presentation till Sunday early morning, I revised my report again and again, I had gone over what I should say and the words that I should use or not use. I was afraid that if I can not pronounce them correctly, I would complete block and did not know how to end the presentation on the stage.

New Open Night Market

     "Have you ever been to the new Garden night market?" this is became to the comment greeting between the people around me.

      That day, my ex-coworker Johnny chatted with me on MSN, he said he wanted to visit this new  night market, and asked me to go there together, meanwhile, he was afraid that he did not have another helmet, he could not give me a ride. I told him, "Don't worry, I can walk to the night market from office."

Travel Alone

     

      Do you have any experience of travel? I think most of the people do have few or some travels since school life.  When we were kids, we always looked forward to coming trip every semester . Some people like traveling with family, some people prefer accompanying with friends or their steadies.  It is good and pleasure to have trip with companions together. However, travel alone is an another thing.

Sweet School Day

   
   Yesterday, when I arrived in the classroom, Alvin the winner of last week class activity has brought a bag of candies and cookies, he shared some to other classmates, and I also had one of small pack cookies.

Dreams Do Come True

 

   Teacher Sun gave us two page papers, a famous author wrote his own story with their dreams, although the story is short, those simple and elegant words still touch our heart greatly, his emotion is fluid between words and paragraph, I read it over and over again.

  The composer described the interactions with his mother, and how did his mother make sacrifices and had worked hard for their family living. He became a best seller book author nowadays, his dreams came true, but his mother cannot see the glorious success he has.

Class Activity with Joy

   Sunday afternoon, PM4:00, our last class of weekend study, most of classmates are complete exhausted at this time. But, yesterday at the same time, all classmates were full of energy and morale, if there were windows and tiling in the classroom, I wondered about our crazy laughter would pierce them into fragments.

   Few weeks ago, Teacher Cindy assigned us to prepare a presentation for introduction of popular tour spots in Taiwan, all classmates were grouped into 10 teams, each group had to report over 20 hot spots in Taiwan.

   Teacher Cindy prepared Taiwan map which was hand made by she and her assistant CC, they were busy for this class activity for whole day.  The activity was Taiwanese Monopoly game! How excited we were playing with whole class members! Each team started from Taoyuan County and the movement was depended on dice. The number on the dice meant how many stations you can move by, you must present the county or city when you stop in, if you land on “Chance” or “community chest”, just took the card and followed the instructions.

Three Idiots

    I just watched DVD Three Idiots this week, this movie is copious story about the 3 college students in school life. It is hardly to watch Indian movie, I think it is the first release from India product in Taiwan. This  film broke all film records in India, and soon was popular in the world.

    There are 3 main student characters, Fahan, Raju, and Rancho. Rancho is the most intelligent and bright among his friends, he studies Engineering with great passion. On the other side, the Fahan and Raju are counter to Rancho’s condition. Farhan pursue his father’s wishes to be a make money engineer instead of his own desire – a photographer in the wildlife. Raju is from an impoverished home, under economical pressure, he cannot focus his study.

The part-time job

   Yesterday, I chatted with my new co-worker, who just graduated from my previous school and his major is in English department, too.  We talked a lot about our school and part time jobs in student life. I had a lot of experience part time jobs during my college period, I not only had part jobs after classes, and some summer or winter vacations, I had a full time job.

     My first part time job was store clerk in a small chain department stores. I was in charge of the household article, my major jobs is clean all the glasses and china products. There was not allowed any dust on the cup, although it was a boring job, I loved all the products became into shining and new after my carefully work, and my mood would turn to bright and happy. The clerks worked there were kind and nice to me. I have been there for few months till I worked in Golf course.

Branding Taiwan

   I attended a symposium in Tainan for two days last week, there were over 30 experts from auto parts and aftermarket field, the symposium named Branding Taiwan which is under the auspices of the government.  All members joining in this meeting were free of training, but must be the competent person of relative of this field, fortunately, I was the one of them.

   The goal of Branding Taiwan is providing a favorable environment for branding development and popularization of the international branding image for Taiwan. In this conference, Branding Taiwan School invited 3 consultants from DDG company with the extensive experience of Taiwan brand transition to global brand.

The writer says that “Communication is not possible without common understandings, background, experience….” Do you agree?

    In my personal opinion, the writer says that, because maybe he is a beginning writer, or does not have confidence for his writing. A good writer should not worry about such problems of readers without common understanding, background, experience….

My Writing Lesson

   

    I must admit that I am not a good writer, I use to write some jottings with simple words or sentence for my own reading, the jotting is informal writing, just memo my moods with happy, unhappy, sad or every touched moments with some simple words and symbols.
